My name is Jessica and this is my creative/venting corner. I am a recent graduate from Eastern Illinois University with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. Writing has been the backbone of the many opportunities/experiences I have received over the years in the field of my interest: PR/Communications. Most of all, writing has carved out my creativity and has become a therapeutic activity. The more I write, the more I learn about myself and this forever-changing world we all live in.

Besides writing, at times I find a liking for “junk-food TV material” with reality TV Shows, talk shows (Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!) and my favorite of all time, Lifetime Movie Network. Believe it or not, these can be therapeutic as well. Most of all… MUSIC is my MUSE all types! I have and will continue to express my love for music continuously throughout this blog.

When it comes to LIFE, my biggest want is to be content and to have internal PEACE with whatever I face with in life. I pray for PEACE and CONTENTMENT on a daily basis. I do not want to go through life unsatisfied and restless when it comes to the choices I make, the people I have in my life and the situations I dwell in. Most people want success, but I truly believe if you are at PEACE with yourself and CONTENT on what God gave you, then you have already reached that point.
